Paul has more than 35 years of extensive industry experience in numerous senior management roles, some of which were strategic sourcing, product line management, and procurement. He started his professional career as senior buyer for glass and capital equipment, and worked later as purchasing manager for Westinghouse Electric Corp. From 1996 to 2010, Paul was the Director of Purchasing at Schindler Elevator in North America, a multi-billion USD company globally and in North America. During this time, he led initiatives to add value and reduce costs for all direct and indirect sourcing in North America value over USD 700 Million.
In 2010, Paul joined Rutgers University to teach in MBA- and Executive Education programs. He was selected by the Deans advisory council as Newark SCMMS twice as "Professor of the Year", in 2012 and 2014. The council and his students agreed that Paul’s teaching style bridges the textbook concepts to life by using his “real world” experiences to show how these concepts are used in business.
