Holger is an international expert in purchasing and supply chain management as well as in learning and development. He has industry and consulting background, and he was associated with leading business schools in Europe and in China. Among others, he was Program Director Executive MBA in Germany and Head of Procurement & Contracting Academy in India. During his career, Holger set up dozens of procurement and supply chain management academies for multinational companies and for domestic incumbents. This included training and other activities such as competence assessment, job role and job description analysis or the alignment of career and development paths with training initiatives.
Being a "German by default", he developed a strong Asian footprint too since coming over to China in 2007 and having worked for Reliance in India in 2011. Today, Holger splits his time for two activities: Procuretrain and Hiteco, a Shanghai-based company offering ChinaSourcing products and consultancy services.
